Does any one here know where the steering angle sensor is located in a 2009 1lt splash google is no help :(

they are normally mounted under the steering wheel, which means you need to remove airbag etc.

Does it have one? a lot of modern systems are torque sensing.
Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

It is behind the steering wheel found out this morning thay also have a torque sensor if it eletric steering its got esp so it need to know what way the wheel is turned
