Here's our old SJ 410 Santana Soft Top.
We had so much fun in it and we both really miss it to this day, despite the Jimny being much more capable and refined and quieter and drier and more secure etc.
It was pretty standard. I put heavy duty springs on it as the old ones had gone straight but these were to hard really and uncomfortable.
I had the engine reconditioned and then sold it after our 2008 trip to the Lakes in it - a mission in a 1000cc soft top SJ!
There's been one just like it but quite mint looking on eBay recently that we would love to have bought, but the Jimny is far better suited to our needs.

I do prefer the shape of SJ's and wouldn't mind one after my J goes to the big Suzuki dealer in the sky.
I guess it's finding one with no rot though.

As Gipcyan Bill says, they do come up. You just have to keep an eye out on eBay and believe it or not autotrader has the odd really nice one on there, but they know how to charge as they are usually dealers.
We got our old one for £425! It had an mot but I think the tester was either blind or meant for it to go on another car as only one brake light worked and could have worked for some time as it was full of water and rust. The fog light was fit for the bin and the handbrake was long gone!
I fixed it up and put an X-Eng disc handbrake on it.
We took it to Wales too for Wales Rally GB!
Ah the memories!
If only I'd stuck some of Llama 4x4's springs on and a rocklobster with a winch on the front. It would have been awesome, even with the little 195/80/15 Colways on it.
I've wondered about 195/80/15's on the Jimny just for the laning I do now but I think ruts would end up getting the better of me.

I love the SJs so much, such a classic shape. A fine example mr kirkynut.
