Finally got some suitable spacers so the front and rear are the same.
I had to take the ones off on the front ages ago because I was getting more death wobble than usual
Thank you to S200KYS for letting me have them, for a price of course

Managed to get hold of a hard spare wheel cover, £35 off eBay
Ordered a new lock, only cost a tenner as this one had no keys
Will get it resprayed the same colour as the body soon, as well as repairing some of the fibreglass on it.

Good work mate looking good - quick question the steering damper as I am about to fit mine. You said you couldnt put your finger on it? Does the car feel more solid? At the moment my Jimny feels light and wobbly round corners. Was hoping the steering damper would give it a heavier, more solid feeling.

I think it's the damper absorbs some of the shock from potholes... which we've got plenty of around here
I think that spacers made the handling in corners feel better due to the slightly wider track.

so is the ride smoother as a result of the damper? sorry for all the questions just trying to get an idea of what to expect/whether its worth fitting or not!

The rides not smoother but the steering feels smoother like on a heavier car if you get my drift, it was the first thing I added to my jim

Just fitted one mdog18 and the whole steering system feels more solid but it slows the return to centre a little, Whipping out of a side turn sharpish needs to be thought about.......
Worth that slight negative, reduces the over sensitive mid corner inputs from bumps in the road and as already stated makes the car feel more solid.

Thanks daniel30 and sniper - sounds like it makes the drivers ride better but not the passengers. For the price I'm definitely going to go for it!

Semi Jimny related, finally got a driveway sorted so I can do work on her without lying in the mud, not the most level but it'll do the job :woohoo:
First job on it was changing the rear top level brake light bulb, was done in less than 30 seconds

Was bored over the last bank holiday weekend so I decided to respray my rocker cover (because that makes it go faster according to the lads who hang around Maccies)
