So we have bought a Jimny, it is a 2003 Automatic, silver and as standard as it can be, unlike a lot of what I have seen on this forum.
The Jimny has replaced a SWB 3.2 Shogun as quite frankly it is crap, big, heavy and extremely thirsty. ( for sale if anybody is interested)

Plans for the Jimny, first of all it will be getting the LED light bar off the Shogun fitted in the hole in the front bumper as we live out in the sticks along a rough track so light is important!! Secondly a tow bar to pull the logging trailer, hopefully the Jimny will cope with a trailer load of logs.

Finally a set of A/T's may be fitted but from what I have read so far, the tyres, patterns, sizes and makes is a massive subject, so I have no idea what to fit.

I look forward to being part of the Big Jimny forum, hopefully I can contribute as well as take information.

Welcome along! If the logging trailer is a sensible size your Jimny should have no problem towing it.

Welcome along :-)

Towing isnt a problem for a jimny, theres even a way to get low-box 2wd if its a serious trailer

I have a set of 5 alloys with BFG AT's in 215/75R15 size going spare  Biggest size to fit straight onto a standard jim ;-)

My trailer is not that big so we should be ok, rear seats are coming out though, dog, chainsaw and other stuff will need to go in there.
Can you buy a liner to stop things dropping in the footwells?
