My girlfriend bought a Jimny!

Hi There, I convinced the girlfriend to buy a jimny for her first car as I always wanted one but ended up with minis instead! Wish I'd bought a jimny for my first car, although no doubt I would have rolled it back then haha. She's been driving "Chester" (don't ask) since December and I think she'd like to try some off roading, well more me but she seems keen.

Chester is totally standard at the moment, just given him a full service, was going to do the cambelt then I found out it is chain driven, I was chuffed!

I want to give it a little lift, get a spare set of wheels, maybe a breather kit and a winch.

This is a story to mach my own. My girlfriend got herself a soft top one after driving mine and
has called it "James". :laugh: She had never been offroad before and now she is my co-driver
in offroad competitions. :evil: It makes home life very easy if you share the same hobbies.

Haha, she nearly bought a soft top one! She fell in love with Chester though!

+1 to that. ...After years of sitting by me with a book my wife took up sea fishing, and now, embarrassingly, I am regularly out-fished :blush: :blush:

Chester is cute!

Just join a club and go laning a few times.....then you'll know 2 things.

1: If she wants to do more
2: What Chester needs in the way of farkles.....and he'll need farkles!

Bear in mind that laning gets a little scratchy.

She sounds like a 'keeper' !

I am fortunate that my Mrs wanted us to get into Offroading together and we chipped in £225.00 each to buy our old SJ410!

Just be aware that it can end like this!

Note how pleased with herself she looks!

I say end - it hasn't ended but only because of the cage!
