Thanks Andy had to sorn it for the time being as it's terrible in the wet and won't work in the snow and needs a few quid spent on it to get it through it's next mot .

First mod done , car was bought with 4 odd tyres and found out the hard way today they are terrible in the wet so just ordered 4x toyo open country tyres in 215/75/15 . never realised what a chew on of a decision it would be actually choosing tyres , taking into consideration mpg gearing off road capabilities etc

That's a big jump up in tyre size

How's it affected the drive? My 215 70s should be on soon.

Its effected it quite noticeably tbh it's now alot slower and can already see the fuel gauge moving quicker but won't be able to tell exactly till I've gone through a tank . Hopefully will pay off if we get a harsh winter though

Apologies, mine are 215 75s not 70s. I've decided I'm only going to use them this winter though then get some 205 70s for next winter. I intend on a bit of a long tour next summer and want to make the fuel cheap as possible. :blink:

My old tyres will be getting put on next summer again I think the 40quid fitting cost will be easily saved within a few weeks of driving with the mpg increase . 2 inch lift and snorkel fitting now and I should be gtg . Would love some spotlights but unsure on what ones
