Went to test drive this 09 yesterday and I decided to go for it - we're picking it up next Saturday. : )



It's in good condition and ticks over nicely - the interior is spotless! The Suzuki dealership is throwing in a couple of new tyres too.

First priority is getting a decent roof basket and fitting it up to hold my boyfriends radio comms kit. I'm so pleased and can't wait to get back in it!

Cheers! Currently he has a handheld uhf but he's looking to get a cb.

Is he a licenced ameature radio enthusiast?

Ive got a cb and a vhf/uhf dual bander, I currently hold a foundation licence. If you search vhf/uhf 2m 70cm you should find my thread about fitting my kenwood dual bander.

My cb is under my glovebox on a homemade mount so its tucked up out of the way

nearly the best colour
keep the front alloys clean as they tend to corrode very quickly and badly if left alone,
the coating is pretty rubbish and my 2007's are trashed.

Not yet, but the license is on his to-do list. At the moment he just listens. And sweet I'll have a look, will definitely be of interest.

Haha yes, nearly! Black or gun metal would have been my first choices, but they look good in blue too. And thank you for the tip. We'll be getting the car dirty, but I'll be doing my best to look after it too.

We brought it home today. : ) And we've already personalised it!
