Just saying Hello
Your Jimjam looks good and the boot rust is par for the course it seems - except for mine but I don't know how it escaped it!

the rest of the Jimny under was in very good shape for its age minor surface rust in normal places. A fare part of the chaise had original paint on it. you lucky you did not have rust boot to sort more of a inconvenience than a pain rely.

then i set about changing the fan belt and power sterling belt to solve the squeal on start up till the engine warmed lets hope this solved it.
i then changed the aerial was straight forward just remember to undo the clamps under the dash that hold the cable out of the way. used the old trick tie string to the end of the old cable before you pull it out then tie the string to the new cable and pull the string from the inside to thread the new cable through the frame.
waiting on the new stereo tomorrow.
