Cruzer244's Jimny (Rhino Jr.)
I'm a new member on Bigjimny. I'm from South Africa. I stay 30km from the Botswana boarder
I have a 2010 suzuki jimny. I'm very happy with my jimny. I will post some photos of my jimny as it gets some extras on!
I already have steel undies, front diff protector and a towbar on the jimny. I'm getting a 3" suspension lift kit in a week. It is a GIZ suspension kit. Does anyone know it?
I still have STD road tyre's on. 205/70R15
I hope to give great thread to read!
Here is Rhino Jr.
I fitted a roofrack on Rhino jr this past weekend. I got the roofrack from a farmer in BW (Botswana) it came from a toyota.
Thanks
Cruzer

Good looking Jimny but.... the red plastic looking thing from the rhinoceros is for me personally "a not done". :silly:
But, it's your drive.... so if your happy with it...
Anyway, have some good times with your Jimny !
I know the Rhino nose look not so good. But here in SA we trying to save our Rhino's against rhino pouches. I'm supporting the cause! So thats why I have the horn on my jimny. Here are a lot of 4x4's with them. I would like to show my children one day how a rhino looks like.
Sorry if my english is not so well.
But thanks for replying.

I was in SA this summer for a month working on a game reserve (im a vet student) and doing a bit of travelling. I miss the place so much, and good for you with the horn, if only more people shared your values working on the game reserve taught me a lot of things about the problems you guys face.
But back to the jimny! Hope you enjoy it, so many nice dirt tracks in SA to go tearing down

OK, CRUZER244,
if your running this as for a statement to save the rhino's and make clear that you are concerned about them....
then i keep my mouth shut and i want to apologise to you.
And i'm the "silly" one not knowing what this meant, so thanks for clearing things out.
Again... i learned something today... thanks for that !

Do you have a part number/maker for that towbar? I like the recovery ends on it, not something I've seen over here... How strong do you think they are? How thick is the steel?
Hey MC nebula
The is a bosal towbar. Made in RSA. Or I think so. Haha. Suzuki Auto South Africa also has a towbar that looks the same. I know that NOX on the forum has a suzuki towbar. Maybe he can help with a part number. Here is some pics of the towbar.
The recovery point is 8-9mm thick. I think it is strong. I only used it once to pull an old tree out of the yard.
Thanks for all the replies on my rhino horn.
