I am very interested in how you have done the recovery points. That is very similar to what I am thinking of doing.

Do you mind taking some more photos of them and brief run down on how they are attached?

yea no problems,

ive bent up the plate that the front bumper bolts to, drilled two holes in the bottom of the chassis rail, bolted the two 8000Kg Rated recovery hooks to and bent the plate back down.... im no engineer but im hopefull the bolts wont shear with a big 4x4 on the other end....

although im sure someone will be an expert on this and have something to say..

so i had some fun getting my jimny ready for dual battery's.

Replaced the standard battery with the Optima and going to get a deep cycle battery this weekend and get it all hooked up..

Ran 3 power cables to the back of the car so i can run a fridge a camp light and something else (not sure what)

was a pretty easy install just need to mount the red-arc and the second 100amp breaker.

following week ill be fabing up a winch plate. about 90% finished with the design should be sweet as..

I used 6mm plate for mine and bolted it with 3 M12 High Tensile. Pulled it with about 20 tonne of extra mud over 30m just fine.

I've not played/made a self made winch plate, sorry can't help!

What which rating are you getting? 9000lb? Might help with shear strength of bolts etc.
