Hello from a Newbie was created by slippy
Afternoon Folks,
just joined the site and thought I'd say hello. The Jimny we have got (I say we because it's actually the wife's ) is a 2005 model in a champagne colour. It's bog standard and is our second Jimny and third Suzuki.
I was looking for info' about exhausts and catalytic converters and found this wonderful group of people.
Exhaust is holed on down pipe just before entering the Cat' and from reading on here this seems to be a common occurrence.
I think I am going to try and get it welded in the first instance - I'll let you know how it goes.
Great site folks and I'm looking forward to the chat.

Welcome along!
My pipe went in the exact same place. The weld around the end of the CAT had failed and the pipe was loose, causing a slight blow. I changed the whole exhaust as alot of the brackets along the centre section had rusted off.
My pipe is now Euroflo with a genuine back box.

Thanks for the warm welcome and again I look forward to the chat.
Oh, exhaust welded today for the Princely sum of £15. Gave the young lad £20 for his trouble as it was such a good job done in a timely fashion.
