Nudge bar or not? was created by Muzza904
Well I took of my silver nudge bar this afternoon and I always thought they made it look better but actually now it's off I think I prefer it without lol  I took it off due to some damage after an unfortunate event  so I'll be putting it on the for sale section should anyone be looking for one.

I have had the same dilemma, however I have had a different outcome, when I first brought the car removing the nudge bar was the first thing I wanted to do, however it has quickly grown on me and I have decided to keep it. It may reduce the angle of which I can approach things however it had not caused any issues as yet, it has collected a few scratches however

it does look good without though.

I prefer the Jimny with nudge bar, looks good and gives you something to fit lights 'n' stuff to.

Yeah well I can't decide wether to fit a stainless A bar like yours so that I can fit spotlights but it's quite pricy for me and I could just get a roof bar.

Either one like this or I was thinking about putting some rectangular spots in the grill bit between the jimny foglights? That wouldn't affect anything would it? Maybe these

It's polished Alloy, much lighter than stainless steel.

I had previously mounted them direct to bumper but had to fit a length of thick aluminium bar behind the bumper as prior to that, the lights vibrated at speed....

Or you can just fit a light bar for around $30. Unexpected bonus with that was the angle from above prevented toll cameras getting a pic of my plate for auto-tolling so I used the toll freeways free for a few years ;)

Here was the car with spots on bumper and lightbar holding the fog lights and obscuring the plates from prying toll cameras :D

Haha that's brilliant nice and sneaky  I quite like that mini light bar it looks nice and neat :) and have you fitted a Suzuki hood ornament and a giant horn lol
Do just 2 spotlights make a good enough beam? That's all I think I could afford until Christmas :p

It really depends on what you want the spots for as to what to get. Ideally you would use a pencil beam for long distance (normally a clear lense) and a broad beam (usually has ripples in lens to spread light). In Oz Kangaroos are a real menace so I go with two pencil beams to spot them far away but there is an opinion that 1 of each is best as the kangaroos can be picked up coming from the side with a broad beam.

When I go out shooting at night I fit an LED light Bar as they illuminate a huge area...

Link to the spot light bar/numberplate holder, all alloy, usually around $29...
