So I was trying to track down some history on my jimny and when I removed the spare wheel from the roof I noticed that there was a KAP Suzuki sticker under the strap so I thought id get hold of KAP so I sent him a e-mail saying I was trying to find out more about my new toy ect, ect, with some pics and he sent me a e-mail back about a week later saying to ring him, at this point im expecting bad news but I rang him and he said he cant tell me much as it probably been built about 7-8 years and they don't keep records that long but what he could tell me was very handy he said the car came from Leeds brand new to one of his loyal customers who sent it to KAP for them to build a pose machine so they put a 3" lift, full cage, and snorkel on it and the spacers and 16" GV rims plus tyres. He had it 4 years or so then ebay'ed it, and that's as much as he knew, then it turned up down hear in the hands of a company called Caple Fencing in Tonbridge who I cant get hold of who put the winch bumper on it witch is one of KAP's old style of bumpers.

I mentioned to him that I was after some parts for it (bearing in mind I had already found prices for all the parts) he then began to tell me how much all the parts were and I said that I could get them cheaper else were, he then said well ill tell you what ill do.... (hear we go im thinking) he said i like to look after people that have my cars so ill beat any price you have and it turns out iv saved about £300. Iv got a few more bit to get but I need to get paid again 1st

ill put some more pics up when I start the work.

That was a result and a good saving, its also great that you found out some history around the Jimny, its not often that you get that unless you know the previous owners.
