its got a bit done to it, heres what i can remember:
3" lift kit
panhard rod relocation kit
caster correction bushes
huge tyres
8500lb winch custom fitted into front bumper
Completely in the dark about what other modifications to make... used to making things lower and faster haha!
but currently I need: two front calipers as they have helpfully seized and a front wheel bearing.. when thats done hopefully get some advice on here of what to do next! [it had bigjimny stickers on it so not sure if anyone on here recognises it?]
cheers Ross

haha! yep thats a seat leon with 19" bbs wheels and full coilovers... Kind of what my past car history was before the jimny... 180bhp 1.3 toyota starlet turbo was the previous car. dont look back at all now, 4x4's are so much more fun!

Similar to me mate, previous cars included Colt CZt, VX220 and a 350z.
Sometimes I miss the speed but most of the time I'm loving the Jimny just as much!

I want to make the plunge into a buying a 4x4, but I'm unsure if I'll hate daily driving after having hot hatches...

Mines not a daily drive, just a weekend toy. If you are driving any sort of distance then the Jimny is not great in my opinion. It starts to struggle at anything over 60mph and does like to wander around a bit. Its not terrible but its not great either. Its a hoot to drive but personally I wouldn't want to use it every day (although plenty of people do).

Are the newer Jimnys the same? Mine is a 2000(W) plate so I just assumed that the newer Jimnys were a bit better for everyday driving.

IMO the 2005+ are way better, I tried pre 2005 jimnys before I got an 2005. My stock sj413k was better that the 2000 jimny. .seriously it was

That's good then cause after about 4 weeks of owning the 2000 Jimny I'm quite hooked on it. I'm even considering upgrading to a newer one as a daily drive when my current daily drive goes back at the end of next year.
