Back to the Jimny fold after defecting to a Disco for a while!!
Expensive mistake, cheap parts but you break things every weekend.
So got on the old ebay and picked up a bargain 52 plate with 43,000 miles for the measly sum of £1500.
Now to get it ready for some serious offroadin.
A couple of pics of my old Jimny-now my cousin's,the Disco and my new to be toy.

I think they look good in red but not many red ones about. Looks even better with the lift and I think black modulars look the nuts!

Looking forward to more piccies, it's looking cool!

Got them off my uncle,he's just put 16" vitara's on his. They were from Kap-think Darren charges around £60 each for them. But looking in Total Offroad you can buy them from www.4x4tyres.com for £28.79 inc vat each-think they'll be the same offsets.

A few more pics(poor quality sorry) of my old one, current one and a mate's who i've just fitted the same lift kit as mine today. They look quite cool together-should turn some heads when we all go laning-rather than seeing a convoy of green oval oil slingers!!

As well as the lift I've made my own panard rods.Used some thick wall seamless tubing then 12mm rosejoints and inserts from www.mcgillmotorsports.co.uk.The joints, inserts, and misalignment spacers only cost £47,the steel was £20,and bit of weld then to a mate who powder coats so for around £85 ish I've got a pr of ORA lookalike rods.
Can't stop spending now I've started-just ordered a Rockwatt rocklobster transfer box.Should be ready in 2-3wks.Done a bit of reading and it seems he know his stuff.Hope the money is well spent.
Will keep the pics coming as I start to chop the arches away.

Just strarted to cut the arches back, only got 1 done tonight.

First get yourself an old wagon mudgaurd

Then chop the lip off and slice the arch and bend

Then rivet the old mudgaurd to the inner arch and wing

Then trim back

Still a bit of trimmin needed but you get the idea.
