Hello.

I just joined as a few weeks ago I got myself a Jimny to replace my SJ; I needed a car that was more suited to the occasional trips to work.
I have to say it's one of the more fun cars I've had (I've not had so much fun driving since I bought my first Saab.)
I bought it so that my boy and I can go and have a play and we've done a couple of green lanes so far. We're hoping to get along to one or two pay and play days in the near future too.
So far it's fairly bog standard, the previous owner fitted all terrains on it and I have whopped a CB into it.
I'm not going to rush into any serious mods yet, will see what I need as I go along.
I may uprate the speakers though - they are a bit tinny for my liking

Hi Gary, welcome to BJ
very wise not rushing into doing mods - just start saving now :S

in my opinion, I'd fit rear speakers first, rather than changing the front speakers as this'll give the biggest improvement - see my post on the Dog Taxi rear speakers
;)

Hi Gary welcome to forum

Think about the mods if you use it on the road on a daily basis.
Good luck.

It's going to be 80% road use and I'm interested to see how it performs in the snow; we don't always get much though and I reckon than getting the Jimny will mean we get the mildest winter for years...
