Questions about Trail Master 50mm kits.

My jimny is 2001 non abs so looking at the options I only have the choice of the sport shocks how do the sport and comfort settings differ. Are the front springs handed to stop jimny lean. I understand I need castor bushes and longer brake lines is there anything else required to fit the 2inch lift kit? Does anyone have this kit fitted or have driven a jimny with it on who could comment?

TrailMaster believe (as do a lot of people) that you can get away without Castor Correction on a 2" (50mm) lift. I would suggest you would be able to run it for a while and see if you liked it and correct it if necessary at a later date.

Brake lines are probably the same, fit the kit and it should be ok on the road. You can then jack it up and see how tight the lines are and if necessary fit longer ones before you off-road it.

For 3" you can be assured that you need both, for 2" humm I don't think the brake lines would be long enough wile in the wild .... I would fit them for sure.

In relation to the Castor correction bushes, i personally would fit them as well, your steering will not return to the center if you don't but it is up to you. like Martin said have a go and try, then you can decide what to do. :)

Id deffo fit some hoses, peace of mind aswell. Stay on the road with the lift fitted until the hoses are done and shud be fine.

Ive done a 3" lift and havnt fitted caster bush's, i do have some here but its not THAT bad so dont know if i will bother :-)

So...2". I would fit the lift first before you buy correction, then decide. Also the correction bush's are usually harder polybush type so flex less offroad if thats what your planning?
