I have a 2001 Jimny and I'm interested in installing a National Luna dual battery system. They system will use one Optima Red top battery for starting and one Optima Yellow top deep cycle battery for the winch, lights etc. I'm afraid the stock alternator isn't up to the job. Does someone make a kit that lets you install a stronger alternator. In the U.S. a kit is available for Samurai's that let's you install a General Motors 105 amp alternator. I don't know enough about electrical or Suzuki's to know if that partaicular kit could be used on my Jimny.
