Jimny with Turbo Charger? was created by pjlee25
hi,

Just wondering if anyone has tried this? What does this really do?
Can this be installed in a stock DOHC auto-geared jimny?

The Ebay item is: 380298858340

...sorry, just do not know how to post the Ebay barcode or to add an URL. :(

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationIts for a Turbo Diesel model. There are two types of Jimny with Turbos. The Diesel and the Japanese 600cc turbo petrol "screamer". The Japanese version is for the small engined Suzuki to meet some vehicle regulation in Japan, you see a lot of cars with 600cc Turbo Petrol engines in Japan.

The table below shows the turbocharged models.

If you want to create a monster then I understand that the Supercharger from the BMW mini is a good upgrade and the superchargers are common on Ebay as there is an upgrade available which means the old superchargers are sold off.

Do we know how much work is involved to fit a BMW Mini supercharger? I would love more 'umph' from my Jimny, 40mph to 70mph takes forever and it usually cant maintain the speed on slight inclines.

Something is wrong. Whilst they are a bit pedestrian, 70 is no problem, should do that uphill, unless you have oversize tyres fitted?

(Now my 3 cylinder Corsa struggles with headwinds and gradients that the Jimny storms up)

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)
