i have a 3rd gen 2000 jimny, and afaik the steering wheel isn't adjustable, is there any way to move it so i can fit my legs under it?
my legs rub a lot and it makes it difficult to reach the brake pedal comfortably.

If it is because your are taller than the average japanese, some move the seat back. There are ready made relocating brackets to buy for this.

i don't think i can, i'm really far back already and i'm too far away from the steering wheel. i'd rather get one step closer and move the wheel up if possible

yeah i think that would make the steering a little heavy, also i don't think there's an easy way to make it so the police won't take away the car if they stop me and see it

Different car?

Changing the steering would probably be quite involved and then require testing/certifying to say it is safe. Also don't forget your insurance might take a hit.
