I recently purchased a 2003 Jimny but there was no info about the amount of lift it has. Does this look like a 2" lift?

Cheers
Pete

Assuming it's on standard 205.70 tyres then I would say yes it looks like a 2 inch. Though if you have a look at the how tall is your jimny thread that will give you an idea of where to measure and what figures to expect.

Having waded through the mud bog of the "how tall is my Jimny" thread, there's a lot of data, but not enough detail to make it useable information, at least if "lift height" is what you're interested in determining.

Total vehicle height is affected by rim & tyre size and also tyre pressures - to minimize the impact of these on a lift height discussion, measure the "eyebrow height" - run a tape measure from the lowest part of the wheel rim, across the center of the wheel and take a reading where it crosses the wheel arch.

If you can get someone else with a stock vehicle to do the same thing and give you their measurement, the difference will be your lift height.

By measuring from the rim and not the ground, the effects of tyre size & pressure are eliminated, rim size needs to be stated and whether or not the arches have been changed or modified.
