Car jerks when I accelerate and let off the gas

The car is a 3rd gen with the non vvt m13a, the engine is perfect mechanically, I just had it checked for other reasons.
The car jerks when I press the gas (I tend to press it very gently at first) and when I let off at low-medium rpms (1000~2200).
I have a sports back catalyst, a bigger intake pipe instead of the rubber one and a cone filter.

A dirty or worn out injector can cause this.

Other causes can be a dirty fuel filter or fuel pump/pressure low, all of these things can cause a jerking engine especially at low revs.

If it isn't fuel related then is it a misfire? There are a lot of reasons for a misfire and they mostly happen at low revs.

The ECU has thrown 1 or 2 misfire codes in the past, but the plugs are decently new and the codes don't come back for months after I clear them, could be that the plug leads are old and worn. Should I do a resistance test on them? Or whatever is needed
Also, I have 2 spare wires, the ones for cylinders 1 and 3, that are for the Jimny but don't fit for some reason, I think the rubber under the "cap" is too big and it doesn't allow me to push them in fully. Would it damage the wire to trim off some of that rubber?

Car jerks when you accelerate & decelerate - are you looking for random guesses?

Bad UJs, engine mounts, transfer case mounts, suspension bushes, literally any slop or slack can cause a jerk.

Fair enough, I'm slowly restoring this car to her glory days, so I'm always looking for more problems to solve
