Just a quick bump on this topic to ask if anyone knows if the wiring to the heated seats is a plug in "sub loom" or part of the cars main loom ?
I am going to try to retro fit the heated seats into my LCV and I need to plan the wiring, I am hoping to get hold of a Suzuki loom from a crashed Jimny that had heated seats.
I can get the seats themselves and switches but the LCV version has no wiring. I'm hoping its a sub loom, if not i'll have to remove the seats and carpets and splice the section i need into my loom.
I already have the heated mirrors and the adjustable intermittent wiper on the front, I am now sorting out the relays to get the rear intermittent wiper working. I also removed the key in warning beeper plug !

My SZ5 has them and I tried them to find out what the fuss was about. After about 5 minutes my backside started to cook so I switched them of and I have never switched them on again.
Don't bother, spend your money on something useful.

It's funny how different people are, I wouldn't be without my heated seats, I use them all the time in winter.

I'm with @Roger Fairclough. Switched mine on 7.5 years ago when I picked it up from the dealers, just to make sure everything was working. Not been on since

I have a bad back which is helped out massively by heated seats so when I put them in I will be using them in the winter, I also intend to fit a back warmer to make sure it really does the job properly on a winters day. Also, I don't think its possible for me to be "too hot", i'm like a lizard.
I could easily get an aftermarket kit and slap that in but I want to do it factory style because I have had this car from new and I really like it.
If there is a sub loom that joins the main loom then that will be much easier for me to find and to add but if its a fitted spur and I have to splice it in from a whole donor loom then so be it.
So, anyone know what happens loom wise in the heated seat section of the gen4 Jimny ?
