Moving Gen4 LCV bulkhead backwards?

Moving Gen4 LCV bulkhead backwards? was created by Pondboy
Has anyone moved the bulkhead behind the front seats back to give more legroom? If so, how?
I want to keep it, but not sure if I just need to replace all the securing brackets with ones of appropriate length, or if there is a more cunning option.
Thanks PB

Martin our illustrations leader has a YouTube video explaining exactly how to achieve this.

Thank you for that. Just what I needed. I'll work on moving the top grill back to suit.
Nice video

I managed to move the lower bulkhead back as per the video and have temporarily hung the wire section on the top fixing points, with the bottom hanging loose behind the lower section (it is jammed in place by the seat at the moment). Once I get hold of some 80-90mm bolts (or a section of 6mm threaded rod) I will be able to move the top behind its bracket using spacers long enough to ensure that the tubular frame sits clear of the mounting tubes that are attached to the side panels and bolt down the lower fixing points.
This has given me all the legroom I wanted and keeps both bulkhead sections in place as required in Spain (means a dog in the boot doesn't have to be harnessed to a fixing point).
Thanks again for the video and the post.

Got some 100mm & 120mm M6 bolts to secure the bulkhead in position.
I tried using the 120mm bolts on the top fixings of the wire mesh, but the mesh frame tubes fouled the side bracket tubes, as the side brackets gap narrows very slightly nearer the top locating/fixing bolt. Took them out and put in the 100mm bolts with washers and a M6 nut to hold the wire mesh tight against the bolt (once everything else was in place). Got both sides screwed in (with a bit of swearing, it was a very tight fit between the side tubes), then used two more 100mm bolts with washers & nuts to tie the mesh section to the lower section and bolted it into the original brackets, with no spacers required.
This allows the seats to move back 16cm from the front of their runners, a gain of around 7cms without jamming the seat tight against the bulkhead.
My legs will thank me for this mod & it is much easier to reach the seat belt than it was before.
