Gen 3 cabin exhaust vents? was created by Tango91
Just a quick question for those in the know:
Do the Gen 3s have exhaust vents somewhere in the back of the cabin?
I've not come across any behind any of the trim on mine and just wondering where the extra air is supposed to go when the blower is running?
(Rust holes excepted!)

There are 2 rubber flaps below the light clusters behind the rear bumper.

ventilation is bad inside the car. might be an improvement for the defroster to make a vent in the rear somewhere. I allways drive with the window slightly open to get more air in, and sleeping in the car is allmost impossible in the summer as you got to let the air in and then also the bugs.
again I miss the flip out rear windows from my gen 2 jimny. I just might make or buy a kit to get that on my gen3.

I bought
THESE
for my Gen4, ventilation with security. Wonder if someone does similar for Gen3?

Yes I've seen those or similar, looks clever. But not for the gen3. They were very pricy for my vw.
Not too worried with security here so I got a big roll of mosquito net, cut out sheets and velcro tape on my vw camper windows. Might make some for my jimny too.
