Jimny LCV Spare wheel bracket was created by Sebastien
Hi,
I ordered a Jimny LCV last summer (not delivered yet) and I am planning some upgrades.
I have already a set of Brock RC33X alloys to replace the OEM steelies.
They will be mounted with OEM TPMS sensors and BF All Terrain 215/75R15.
But I still have 2 questions about the wheel nuts and the spare wheel bracket.
Hopefully you will be able to enlighten me :
1/ Are the wheel nuts identical on the LCV (steel wheels) and the SZ5 (alloys) ?
2/ Will I be able to hang my alloy spare wheel on the LCV spare wheel bracket ?
How is the wheel facing when you remove the spare wheel cover ?
I would like to see my alloy spare wheel like in the picture attached.
Thank you in advance for your help.

The Steelies and the SZ5 alloys are identical fitments so the wheel nuts can be re-used ok
That picture shows a wheel with the wheel cover removed. That is exactly as yours will fit.
If the tyres are too large on the rims they will rub the rear door panel. In that instance you will need a wheel stand off plate

I have 215/75r15's and the spare wheel on my gen 4 is far away from back door (more then an inch between door and wheel) no issues whatsoever in relation to possible rubbing.
I guess for commercial you also will not have any issues fitting it on spare wheel carrier.
