Rules vary by country...in the UK we have construction and use to think about....and whether the modifications injure a pedestrian more than a standard car would have.....and then there's insurance to be notified....

Having had a better look at it I think I'll try and find some bumps to actually see if it clears it before cutting any more, they're probably fine and I'm just being paranoid. But I've got a better idea now.
Also having had a better look, and reading lots more threads on here, I think my next jobs are going to be rubbing and converting rust patches before stone chipping the whole underneath. That and a breather kit due to my wife's fascination with going through the deepest water she can find
Actually I've now got a list as long as my arm, this forum is lethal
