I am doing exactly this right now!

I bought a 2015 Swift Sport R engine (M16a VVT) and I am swapping the original M13a VVT for this one!

As son as I have more news about this, I'll update here!

Why a m16a sport ? Why not a m18a a m16a is only good on paper and most of it power (torque) is on high revv a m18a would have been a bit more practical for a off roader

Because in my country, Suzuki hasn't ever traded a car with the M18 engine, so M16 is all I could get to improve performance concerning displacement...
I agree M16 is a high rev engine, but so M13 is.
Jimny with this M16 will be stronger than with the M13: 104 kW@6900 rpm x 62 kW@6000 rpm; 17 mkgf@4400 rpm x 11,2 mkgf@4100 rpm.
If I had decided to install M18, I would be obligated to import a brand new engine, and it would be very complicated at all.
