Changing front foglight bulbs on a 14 plate was created by rogerzilla
Does anyone know how to do this? The manual doesn't cover the foglights. I assume the bumper has to be eased away for access. I'm wary of following the instructions I've seen in Another Forum as they were for a much older car - Suzuki have moved the foglights around quite a bit over the years!

There is no access panel there. I'm sure the bumper has to come away. I will see if the screws and clips are in the same position as on the earlier model.

Don't you simply need to pop out the plastic liner out from under the wheelarch

Pretty sure you just undo a few things under wheel arch, pull the plastic back and 'HEY PRESTO' you're in!
It's a lot less effort than taking half the front end off to change a bulb.

I worked it out, as evidently no-one has a current model!
You simply lie under the car and you can reach the back of the lamp - there is quite a big gap at the inboard end of the arch liner and no dismantling is necessary. The bad news is that the lamps on the new model are now H11 and I (using an incorrect guide) bought H3. Suzuki - why on earth don't you put the fog bulbs in the owner's manual???

Here's the best way to do it, now I've got round to the job.
Under the car, remove the two bottom trim clips from the wheel arch liner. These have a cunning three-legged outer piece (why?) which prevents use of the usual V-shaped tool to remove the centre plastic pin, but fingernails will work. The whole clip comes out as soon as the centre pin is pulled out a bit.
Access is now quite good, and a torch or inspection lamp is handy. Press the retaining tab in and remove the cable. The bulb can then be undone by turning it anti-clockwise. Reassembly is the reverse of removal, except a lot easier.
Just for the record, the bulbs are H11 now. Not H3 or H8, as you will find variously specified on retailers' websites for a 2014 Jimny.

New to the site, and getting lots of useful info already.
Question on the fog lamps - what is the best replacement bulb to increase the brightness ? There are many LED sizes, and I am interested to know what size to order, as I have already purchased the wrong ones H8 after following Autobulbs recommended replacement. I shall have to return them after Christmas, and would like to get the right ones in exchange.
Thanks for looking.

Thread revival! My 2014 Jimny is long gone (needed more space in the rear seats!) but we now have a 2012 auto as a second car. Although the fog lights on a 2012 are in a different place to the later facelifted cars, they are still H11. I have just changed them for yellow ones, because I like yellow fogs.
