electrical fault to the coil pack

Hi all
My front coil pack blow up the other day so I have bought a new one, but I have put the new one in and I'm not getting any spark even if I swap the back one with the front. I have changed all plugs and ht leads there is power constant power to it but no spark. So it is just running on 2 cylinders.Is there any fuses or relay switches which I showed be looking at or any thing else you can think of.

I assume you mean that the front plugs won't spark, rather than the replacement coilpack doesn't work?

The coilpacks always have a live via the black/white wire and a ground via the black/blue.

The brown wire is the trigger from the ecu. There are no fuses or anything, so check that the connector isn't damaged or dirty, then you will have to check wire continuity to the ecu, and if it still doesn't work but is definitely connected, the ecu may need repair.

Its the 2 and 3 not sparking (centre 2 plugs) the brown wire has got some feed down it and the other 2 wires feed power ever now again but very low voltage compared to 1 and 4. I have now tried 3 coil packs 2 new ones and the one from 1 and 4 but still no spark.
I have found 2 wires with one brown and the other black and blue what was showing wire but that has been repaired and all works fine. So I'm now running out of ideas.... like you said I think I could be the ECU..??

The diagram I have shows both coilpacks have a 12V live from an ignition supply via black/white, and are earthed permanently via black/blue.

The brown wires are the trigger for the coils

If one coilpack hasn't got a full 12V on the black/white start there, only the browns go to the ecu.

did you solve this? after swapping ecu etc i have 2 x dead cylinders?

swapped a coil pack off my donor car today after only firing on 2 x cylinders.
last night swapped the coils round and the fault followed, cured the fault straight away.
