You don't need to hold the pulley in place when removing the five bolts, but, if you don't, it will fall when the last bolt is removed - your choice - and no, when using an impact wrench, it's also not required to hold the gear in place.

When I was a teen, my dream vehicles were a Kawasaki Ninja and a Porsche something.
When I got out of my teens, my dream vehicles were a BMW GSX1200 and a Toyota Hilux Tundra.
Now that im grown, my dream vehicles are a Suzuki Jimny older than my girlfriend and a Honda Transalp older than myself.

Any chance you have the pictures saved? I think they have disappeared to the unknown. Atleast they are gone for me.. Would be vary much appreciated since i have to do this job in the near future
