I would like some KL71's but these are quite a bit cheaper. I only do about 6k miles a year, mainly roads but I like to take to the lanes in Surrey, some of which are a bit boggy.
But considering my road tyres do a pretty good job, even these at £56 each have got to be better for mud/wet sand? Or, would I be totally wasting my time with them?

Some people like Kingpins though.
So I suppose I've just rambled & not been a great deal of help, but I tried.

I've not owned either so I'm not really best placed to say much. I have many friends who've had no probs with Insa turbos but have read OIC tread blocks coming off kingpins in the past.

No it's all good feedback. I am trying to beef up the J on a budget, but I realise these remoulds hence the price, so there is a bigger risk of failure.
