My speedo has stopped working today! I took it straight to the local garage after work and he ran diagnostics on the speed sensor as I initially thought it was this but he said it was fine. As was the wiring terminals to the sensor etc... Any other bright ideas why it may have stopped working? The rev gauge and fuel gauge etc... Still work, as does the backlight on the unit.
Thanks for the suggestion. Funnily enough I managed to fix it. Just took the cluster out disconnected the wires leading into the back pushed them back in firmly, checked for any obvious wiring faults, put it all back together and hey presto, speedo now works! Who needs a mechanic hey!
