my Jimny had the timing belt changed less than 20,000 miles ago but that was 5 years ago, do you think i should get it done again or do you think it will be ok?

Get it done with a quality belt, then you won't have to worry, it won't be very expensive, as it is quite easy on a jimny.

It should be ok for years yet, but modern plastics/rubber tend to deteriorate much faster than in The Olden Days.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Hi thanks thats what i was thinking.

Is it a job that can be done at home or will it have to go into a garage?
