Just bought 99 jimny in red for £300 just needed clutch. I have done the clutch, fitted 235 75 15 nankangs and put 2 inch spring lifters on it. Next is modified shocker brackets on the rear as a newby what would the collective recommend for some light green laneing.

Can I add that I am an independent garage manager with 16 years experience in the trade so don't be shy with the jargon, just after a fun hobby!

Sounds like your set really...
The Jimny is quite capable as standerd and adding some MTs or ATs and a lift kit is all you need really
You can spend aload to make the little Jimny do stupid things but for light laining you have the right set up right there
The only other thing is maybe a CB radio (depending on the types of lanes) as a form of comunitcation to other around you
I would look into some basic equipment to keep in the car as well like maps of the area, basic tools, first aid kit, fire extinguer etc etc

A good tow / recovery strop or suitably strong rope to get pulled out with if you get stuck in ruts would be good, along with a mate to go laning with who can do the pulling with their motor.
On that note, uprated recovery points as the factory ones are only lashing eyes or on road tow points. They bend easily. A tow bar with a Dixon Bate hitch on the back is good. A bridle to link the front factory ones can be a temporary solution there.
Ruts are where you will come a cropper on lanes, made by tractors and muppets in Landrovers with oversized tyres.
Otherwise, sounds like you've created a cheap and fun greenlaning Jimny.
