Hi guys

I'm doing a two inch body lift, changed all the brake pipes to metal and been luck enough to undo all the body bolts.. (No seized ones or snapped and so on).

I just can't find the heads of the body bolts, I can just about see the very rear ones but it looks like a rivit of sort almost like its welded in, the only way I can see it coming off is if I smash it all day with the hammer and hopefully it gives and pops up or if air hacksore it flat and drill it though,".. Then I'd struggle to get the new long bolt in.. The ones in the middle look the same, I can't see the heads at all on them though..

I'm stuck guys help is needed and would b really appreciated

Cheers Chris

(The front ones are find, there off, heads were easily accessible)

The kit I've got is just long bolts and two inch spacers this kit looks like it uses the old thread and you just fit the spacers in.. And those long bolts do up from under neithe I guys..

As markyp200 suggests, the Ebay kits are really basic and expect you to have an agricultural style tool kit, ie. a very large hammer and a very large drill.

Most of that style of kit expect you to simply drill out the old mount completely (including the old bolt) and then hammer the large bolt they supply right through.

The more expensive kits that have an element of engineering about them provide correctly threaded sleeved bolts or threaded spacers to use the original captive bolts.

Your kit will fit, its just not very pretty in how you install it.
