Locking wheel nuts was created by Joakae
I was looking for some locking wheel nuts to secure things bolted to my rear wheel and keep my tyres on my vehicle (lots of chavvys near me) and also a guy at a wheel/tyre place told me to do away with the standard "3 prong" locking nuts that come on the Jimny as standard (as they break or something..)so immediately I went eBay shopping and got a set for a few bob that said they're for the Jimny. They arrived and looked all lovely and all but I was still able to take them off with a pair of pliers or spanner notusing the tool provided! What ones do you guys use? The standard ones seem to be best to me as they spin when trying to use something that's not the right tool.. thanks!

them 3 prong one would take me about 3mins to get all 5 off and any other type but seeing that there is so much room around the nut no matter what you fit thay will be easy to get off the only thing i can think of doing on the spair is to drill a hole where one of the othe stud holes are and put a pad lock on it thats if you are running still wheels

I bought myself some EVO wheel locking nuts that spin when attacked with mole grips etc. and they are Thatcham approved. I also got myself a Toad Ai606 alarm system with an optional tilt sensor, some might think this is overkill but those 33'' beadlockers wern't cheap! I also get the added advantage of remote central locking with the alarm system.

This might help.
Very helpful folk as well if you have a question.

I once fitted alloys to a Suzuki Carry and used the steel wheel nuts.
I lost a wheel as I turned into work and the other three were coming lose!

K :-)
