its the 1.5 corsa na engine as i didnt want a turbo or it could crack in water with the heat, mated to the sj box and machined fly wheel using 4 paddle clutch works a treat
can you explain what the remote thing is for on the box plz
jimny gear lever comes out the floor further back than an sj that comes out much closer to dash the remote control just brings it back further.
Im fairly sure that if your corsa diesel engine is already bolted to an SJ 413 box it will pretty much bolt to the early jimny box with no problems.
Take on board what you say about going normally aspirated on the diesel i had the exact same feeling about what would happen if you dip a red hot turbo in water disaster i would suspect hence why when you look under the hood of my hilux the turbo is about as high in the engine bay as possible to get it.
Like to see a picture of the corsa engine bolted to that sj box if you get chance im assuming its the 1.5 isuzu engine
