NOTE - post 2005 Jimny's have the new style front bumper which means whatever most people say about tyre fit when referring to they're pre 2005 models, doesn't mean anything to those with post 2005 models

no. that would be fine - see the dog taxi - potential issue with spacers an 205/75/15 but only needs the mud flaps junked.So I would have a problem fitting wheel spacers ( 32mm x 2, a la Jimnybits ) on a standard 2012 Jmny with original tyres ? Would rather not do a lift until it is out of warranty.
