I got mine from the Big Jimny Shop as pricing is good - thanks Martin - and you know Martin will not stock cheap crap.

The brand Martin supplies can be got on eBay too though if Martin is out of stock but I do prefer to deal with Martin as I know what I'm getting and when I'm getting it, I like to support the Big Jimny shop and I know if there are any problems with the products, Martin will look after me!

Had it slightly today caused by kick back on the steering wheel from hitting a reasonably sized bump

Maybe a steering damper will be a good idea as I extended my drive home and couldn't get it to happen again or replicate it at all.

I've managed to replicate it repeatedly on one little road near where I work on the way home this morning - just what I wanted after a night shift at 07:30!

It seems if I hit a series of bumps in quick succession I can set it off.

I've ordered up a steering damper from ORA and think this will cure it - however, this was with my Kumho KL71's on the Jim Jam which are 205/80/16's and about an inch smaller than my Malatesta Kaiman 215/80/15's.

I put the Maltesas on it and hit the same bit of road this afternoon and nothing, even holding the wheel between two fingertips!

How do you fathom thatone out - the new well balanced less aggressive tyres cause Death Wobble and the Uber aggressive remoulds balanced as best as possible are as good as gold!!!

Maybe it's the extra width as they are considerable wider, so they don;t get pulled into the pot holes so much, maybe it's the fact that there is an extra inch of air and rubber to absorb the bumps being 15's not 16's, maybe it's the fact that there is so much more tread to flex and soak up the shock of the bump on the steering???

Who knows but I do know my Jim Jam drives Luuuuuverly now, even with my aggressive tyres, so much so, I think the Kumho's are gonna be sold to my neighbour for his LWB Vit project he goes shooting in! Then I'll be a one set of wheels and tyres man!
