I have just fitted ORA Castor Correction arms and Superpro bushes to my Jim Jam.
The bushes are great - as permy other thread on them - however, they stiffen things up on the road a great dealand seemed to show out an oncoming issue on my Jim Jam and then make it worse to the extent I got full on Death Wobble and thought I was going to die!
I knew my Kingpin bearings were all good and my wheel bearings.
The other possible culprits of Suspension bushes and Panhard Rod Bushes could be eliminated as I had just fitted the Superpro's which are firmer on the road.
This only left track rod ends to blame and I knew from having the Jim Jam apart recently that at least one was iffy.
Well all four were iffy and the firming up of everything exagerated the problem of the dicky track rod ends to the point where when I hit a bump, the play in them would move the steering one way and it would bounce back the other until a pendulem effect started and the wheel became alive in my hands. The whole car shuddered and shook violently and made me feel quite sick!
I guessed what was wrong, put it up on stands in the garage, whipped off both steering rods and found the tie rod ends were as loose as a whore and the only resistance to moving them was caused by the rubber boots.
I ordered new ones from Martin via the Big Jimny Shop at a very reasonable price and fitted them tonight to find my Jim Jam now drives like a new car with all the other new bits and all!
I'm relieved to say the least and now I can enjoy my vastor correction and firmer but still comfortable ride I'm pleased as punch!
I love my Jim Jam!

Once you have done the tie rod ends, check for play in the steering box too, it can be adjusted if need be but they are generally OK - it's not a Landrover after all!
Also, whilst you have the steering arms off, check the UJ on the steering shaft from the steering column to the steering box.
Mine were all fine but worth checking whilst it's all apart.

It's cheap enough and easy enough - mine weren't rusted in and I've greased the threads with waterproof grease so they won't in the future - with a view to replacing them as a service item periodically now!
I got mine from the Big Jimny Shop as pricing is good - thanks Martin - and you know Martin will not stock cheap crap.
Motor Factors seem to want to supply Blueprint but the Blueprint supplyer can only get one side at the moment, no matter which Motor Factor I went to. I had already ordered some from Big Jimny but got impatient and tried to get more knowing I could keep the ones on order from Big Jimny as spares.
The brand Martin supplies can be got on eBay too though if Martin is out of stock but I do prefer to deal with Martin as I know what I'm getting and when I'm getting it, I like to support the Big Jimny shop and I know if there are any problems with the products, Martin will look after me!
