Propshaft Uj's was created by Jamie
Right i have now got the correct props for my rocklobster conversion,
but one of the prop uj's is bust!!!! How do i identify which prop it is????
Its from a 413 sammy and im told its the small (popular) size flange,
However i have no idea if its fat or skinny, Jap or spanish??
The props i have are the ones Richard (Rockwatt) sugested were the best
but i need to swap one of the yokes to avoid drilling my dif flange....
Just need to id the prop first
Thanks

Jamie.
Its pretty straight forward.
The fat props are..fat
Sounds blindingly obvious I know but when compared to skinny props the difference is significant. If its a 413 then it is almost certainly a fat prop, skinny props look as if they would snap if any power is put through them. Fat props you cannot really wrap your hand around them.
As for the flanges. You really need to take a couple of measurements as the two bigger sizes look very similar. However I assume you still have the JImny prop? Only the very largest 413 flange matches the Jimny one so you could compare them.

Cheers Martin,
So I have the fat props with not quite the largest flange on them,
Next question, where do you get the uj's from???
My local motor factor has nothing to do with them, he says too much drama......
Is it acase of measuring them and ringing Suzuki????
Thanks
Jamie

Don't know why your local motor factor is so anti. They are pretty commonly available. Your best bet is to go for greasable ones.
The only heartache is the size of the end caps, there are two sizes and unless you know the original car intimately you are going to have to measure them and measure the new ones.
If I get 5 minutes I will look up the QH part numbers.

There are 2 different uj sizes as Martin says and it depends on where the props were made. The Japanese cars use 25mm end caps and the Spanish 23mm.
Camskill sell them and the part numbers are:
Spanish 23mm ADZ 93902
Japanese 25mm ADK 83901

Sorry - meant to say these are Blueprint which are fairly easily available from motor factors as well. Its just that with Camskill you only have to order online and its done!
