New shock time - Any recomendations ? was created by ianR
Well i think its time to change out the 3" pro comp setup, has been on the jimny when i brought it and is sooooo wobbly now.
I was looking at the kit with rough country shocks, any feedback on these and is anyone using the Nitro version ?
I do not use the Jimny as my daily it is used purely for green laning and play days but when green laning quite a bit of road driving is done and some play events are up to a 2 hour drive so would need something that is not unbearable on the road.

those 3" rough country shocks are good to ride offroad and on flat tarmaq but kinda bouncy on speedbumps you litteraly get launched when driving to hard but youll get used to it

Don't know if this helps you, it was sent to me by Rus at jimnybits.
rough country hydro 8000 similar damping rates to the ES3000's
rough country Nitro 9000 similar damping rates to the ES9000's (Quote from Dave at llama 4x4)
the ES1000's are more of an OE damping rate so are "less stiff" than the others but are more stiffer than STD jimny shocks tho.
