Was yours a later button change tcase as standard ? What/who's speedo drive do you have (how many teeth? Is your speedo right?

Had 60mph once flat out with wind behind, spark plugs were shot though. Don't think the special tracs help.
My problem is expecting more out of a 1.3.
I believe with a 4.16 high range compared to a jimny t box is -20%
low range is -94%
My jimny is now running happy so will need to see what it can do, once I fit my front caliper back on.

Mine was a lever type 2002 model. I have a ora speedo drive which I believe is the same as the jimny tb but machined to fit on to a sammy rear flange.
The speedo has a mind of its own and reads far lower than the actual speed, so I go by my sat nav or road angel odometer.

I can count the teeth tomorrow if this helps, I think if I was to put on standard size tyres then the speedo will be back to normal.

That's right it will have 25 teeth the same as standard so with the bigger tires it will be quite a bit out.
The bigger the tires the more teeth you need. Mine has 27 teeth that are spot on for 31's
I can do them with any number on request !
If you can tell me the diameter of your cog and number of teeth I can do you a suitable replacement.

So your quoted 55mph earlier will be more like 68 !

Thanks Rockwatt, I like the sound of doing that.
I am currently on the 235/75/15 special tracs so they will be taller than they should being a remould.

I do fancy bigger tyres, but not for a while yet.
I will be in touch in a couple of weeks to arrange this.
