Oh Dear - but not supprised no one's replied .. 
with that electronic ignition control system, multi-sensor and 2 coil pack setup ..... it looks like it's plug-in diagnostics is the only way to go.
if it gets to be a pain or other symptoms develop, will pursue it further.
can't find any web info on the 2005 - 2009 M13AA Variable Valve Timing engine :blink:
