Sorry, I cant offer advice on the heater motor beyond what the manual states....
1) Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.
2) Disable air bag system, if equipped.
Refer to “Disabling Air Bag System†in Section 10B.
3) Remove column hole cover.
4) Disconnect blower motor couplers.
5) Remove blower motor (1).
Which looks "easy"

is yours stuck on recirculate or something? both of mine have had fantastic heaters and as long as you're not on recirculate theyve never had a problem misting up - till now with broken heater motor..... rather be spending my money on the rocklobster conversion....
