Right,Fog lamps wired up and working, used the 3rd party wiring/relay etc, looked to be too much of a hassle to try and utilised the loom, if the connectors were there??
BUT, can anyone tell me if I use the original suzuki switch, which pins to use on it!!
The switch with the kit uses 3 wires, one is an earth, one from the relay, and the last which links into the dipped beam circuit, the suzuki switch has five pins, , I'm afraid looking at the wiring diagram is a bit beyond me to fathom where this is concerned.
Cheers
Alan

The switch is shown in the second manual I sent over.

Pins 5 and 6 are the +ve feed, these are wired to the lighting circuit in the Jimny as you are not allowed to have the fog lights on without having the lights on. Pin 6 is just the feed to illuminate the switch, pin 5 is the power that goes through to the fog lamps.

Pins 1 and 2 are earths.

Pin 4 is the output to the fog lamp relay.

Martin,
sorry to be a pain, but could you tell me, if I have only 3 wires from the 3rd party wiring I have,
1. from the relay
2. from the sidelight circuit
3. an earth
which pins on the suzuki switch do I use, does this make sense??
Cheers

Alan, Its pretty straight forward.

1. From relay >> Pin 4
2. From sidelight circuit >> Pins 5 and 6 (connect to BOTH)
3. Earth >> Pins 1 and 2 (connect to BOTH)
