hi,ibought my jimny with a siezed engine, g13b engine, i got away with a crank polish and new shells, cost me under £140 at my local engineers, have you striped the bottom end yet to see how bad it is,

hi mate not yet i will have to do that then decide the only thing is im not brilliant with spanners was yours built up for that ammount

hi,i striped it and built it myself, im a mechanic by trade but if you take your time and get all the tourqe settings its not to hard, the cranck shells were £85 and £55 labour for the engineer, the engine had siezed on number 1 main and number 1 big end bearing, i could just about turn the crank with a power bar an i thought it was scrap to start with, ive done nearly 3thousand miles since its been done and it runs sweet, be sure to clean out the oil pick up pipe, mine was blocked solid, reason it siezed, hope this helps
