Are you sure you need a new airbag?
Have you let it discharge it's self, then cleaned all connectors under the seats and cleared the codes stored?

Undo the battery and leave it for 1/2 hour to an hour to discharge. Then clean up the connectors under the seat.
By having the battery off this long I think the Jimny forgets any codes anyway, so it may be a fix that costs you just your own time.
If it doesn't work and the light comes straight back on, I would seek professional help.
