Me and my dad where just out in the Jimny when all of a sudden it started to make a chattering noise as if a gear wasn't connecting properly or something :S

When you disengage the clutch it stops but it's a constant chattering noise in all gear including when in 4wheel drive high and low :S

Anyone had anything similar happen or could give any information on the matter? Would be much appreciated!

I suspect it is the chain in your transfer box slack.

I love a bit of chatter but its much better when its from an external wastegate
